Carbon Projects

Carbon that stays put. Communities that thrive. Seven integrated carbon projects, four states, one circular-economy model.

In collaboration with the School of Livelihood and Rural Development and Vistaar Agrotech Private Limited, YesEarth is developing a portfolio of community-linked carbon projects β€” integrated climate-and-livelihood platforms where carbon removal, sequestration, agroforestry, biochar, biofertiliser, essential-oil units, watershed development and degraded-land reforestation work together.

πŸ”„The Integrated Carbon Project Model

Each project is built around a circular rural-economy model β€” every output feeds the next.

1

🌳

Agroforestry Development

~3,500 acres of bamboo, native trees, fruit trees and aromatic plants β€” carbon sequestration, biomass, soil conservation, biodiversity and farmer income.

2

πŸ”₯

Biochar Production

Agroforestry, invasive-species and farm-residue biomass converted through controlled carbonisation β€” durable carbon storage, healthier soils and feedstock for biofertiliser.

3

🌱

Biofertiliser Production

Biochar blended with compost, microbial cultures and organic inputs β€” cutting chemical-fertiliser dependence and lifting soil organic carbon.

4

🌸

Essential-Oil Units

Lemongrass, citronella, palmarosa, patchouli and vetiver distillation β€” farmer income, rural enterprise, value addition and market-linked livelihoods.

5

πŸ’§

Watershed Development

Water conservation, groundwater recharge, soil-moisture retention and slope stability β€” drought resilience, flood moderation and ecological stability.

6

🌲

Degraded-Land Reforestation

Ecological restoration that rebuilds biodiversity, carbon stocks, landscape stability and community access to ecosystem services.

7

πŸ“²

Digital MRV

End-to-end systems for data collection, geotagging, monitoring, production tracking, carbon-data management and verification support.

πŸ“ˆ Projected carbon impact (illustrative)

At maturity, the 3,500-acre agroforestry footprint alone is projected to draw down on the order of 7,000–15,000 tonnes of COβ‚‚ per year, based on standard agroforestry sequestration benchmarks β€” with biochar locking a significant share into stable, long-duration storage. Figures are projections for planning purposes and are subject to validation under recognised MRV methodologies.
