Northeast India faces rising climate risksโlandslides, floods, seismic activity, and unplanned urban growthโintensified by fragile ecosystems and limited technical support.
To address these challenges, ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ต ๐๐ฐ๐ผ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐๐น๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด has signed an MoU with the ๐๐น๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ (๐๐๐ฃ๐ก), a globally recognized expert in climate-smart building and planning.
Under this collaboration, GBPN will serve as ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ across all phases, from planning and design to monitoring and outreach. Together, weโll develop:
โข Climate-resilient urban and infrastructure guidelines
โข Low-carbon construction models tailored for hilly, flood-prone areas
โข Practical toolkits, roadmaps, and design documents
โข Robust monitoring and support for funding proposals
